August was a tough one. Mike lost his job. Kelvin turned 2! He loves Batman, so we had a Batman themed celebration. I worked at Betties Footlongs for the first time. We took our first family vacation to Orange Beach, Alabama ( it was awesome!!!). Asher started Kindergarten. Good memories were mixed in with rough ones but the happiest times were had at the beach as a family. 

Orange beach was awesome. The whole White family was there because it was a Tannehill reunion. Our condo was right on the beach with a great pool and splash pad. We spent the morning at the beach, came back for lunch and naps, and finished the afternoon at the pool. The weather was great and it was fun seeing pure joy in the kids' eyes. We weren't sure how they would like the beach and sand, but they loved it! We went on a dolphin cruise and Asher was able to see real dolphins swim around our boat!

Asher started school a few days after we got back from the beach. He rode the bus and was gone all day! We missed him but he loves school. He was in Mrs. Bruinius' class at Grand Prairie Elementary.
